Licensing
The licenses that are loaded into the product define what functionality is available. This is broken into:
- Netwrix Data Classification for Box
- Netwrix Data Classification for Dropbox
- Netwrix Data Classification for Exchange - Hybrid License
- Netwrix Data Classification for File Servers
- Netwrix Data Classification for Google Drive
- Netwrix Data Classification for OpenText
- Netwrix Data Classification for Databases
- Netwrix Data Classification for SharePoint - Hybrid License
- Netwrix Data Classification – All-in-one (for all data sources)
NOTE: The Feature Licensing, which includes Redaction, Custom Reporting, Clue Building Reports, and Workflow capabilities, is available for all the listed licenses.
You can add the required license and review a summary of the current license state in your NDC app.
Follow the steps to add a license.
Step 1 – Go to Settings > Licensing. The Licensing Summary page opens.
In the Source Licensing and Feature Licensing columns, you can view the available licenses for your sources and features. You can review the following details:
- Source Type – Type of source or feature, i.e. Dropbox, Workflow, and others
- Status – Valid or Not Licensed
- Tagging Write Back – Sources that have classifications are written back to the repository
- Valid To – Date of the licence expiry
- Info icon – Full list of available licences
Step 2 – Click Add Licence.
Step 3 – Specify Name of the licence and the Licence details.
Step 4 – Click Save.
NOTE: You can view the list of your licence names, its type, and valid status on the Licences page.
